TDG:Break-Awesome Song, Weird Video
So I was watching the music video for Three Days Grace’s song “Break,” and I thought the song was effin awesome!(Which is why I have played it about 3 or 4 times in a row now) Though one thing that I find kind of weird, is how a lot of music videos, not just this one are rather weird. The music video for break shows each of the band members in tiny rooms with a bunch of small holes in one wall, and a giant fan on two other walls. There is also a bunch of balls of paint floating around the room. Towards the middle of the video, the paint balls hit the band members and break. Paint then goes everywhere… which I have to admit, it does look pretty cool. The only thing I can see that connects the song with the video is that fact that the song is called break, and the paint balls break… I’m not good with interpreting music videos. Another music video that comes to mind that I find weird is the music videos for “Straight to video” by Mindless Self Indulgence, “falling leaves” by Billy Talent, and “Everlong” by The Foo Fighters. I would have to say the Everlong has to be the weirdest out of all of the songs I have mentioned. I may have gotten a tad off topic by talking about the other songs when this post was mainly about the TDG Break song.
