This is a new series that my friend and I started. We will find a list of random words from the dictionary and make a sentence out of it. we will post the definition of the words a day or two later.
Here is todays story:
We jettisoned Wally as he hit the water. He then needed a coronal suture. We then had a breif shower of siliceous logos. Later we disrated hackneys and then we bought some crampons… cause it was that time of the year again.
In the comments below, without looking them up, see if you can guess the definition of the bold words. On Saturday, I will post the definitions of the words.

I just ran across skoffer.com, which is a screencasting website that you can put on almost any website you want. It even has a wordpress plugin, so I made a quick video about it.

So the other day I was in the bathroom. As soon as I was done using the bathroom, I looked over at the toilet despenser, and I noticed, THERE WAS NO TOILET PAPER! Franticly I started looking around for some toilet paper, but I couldn’t find any. Just as I was about to give up and just pull my pants up, there it was! I say a twilight book in the stall next to me. So I plucked it up, and I ripped a page out of it, and boy was it absorbant! I finished with my business, and I dropped the book. As soon as I pulled my pants up, I looked down, but the book was GONE! With the sound of a flushing noise, I realized that the owner of the book got up and left… with my high quality toilet paper! I really liked that toilet paper. I guess the moral of this story is… the only thing twilight books are good for is high quality toilet paper.

Wow, people have been recently taking spam comments to the next level. Luckily Akismet, my favorite Wordpress plugin EVER, blocks them all. I have been getting tons of comments that are just massive paragraphs with random words slapped in. Look at my randomness posts, and take the size of the post, but replace all the words with just some random crap, and you will have what the comments look like. So once again, thank you Akismet!

So I tried to run Grand Theft Auto IV on the pc a while back… it ran like crap! But, just today, I reinstalled it, and I went on the internet to see if I could find out how to run it in windowed mode, because on my old computer, games ran better in windowed mode. All I have to say about running GTA IV in windowed mode is WOW! When I ran it in fullscreen mode, I couldn’t minimize it without crashing either the game, or my whole computer. Plus, in fullscreen mode, the game just ran like crap all together. That changed almost 100% when I switched to windowed mode. I can alt-tab out of the game, and look up walkthroughs for the game… or do anything else for that matter. I can also run the game with all the graphics settings set to medium. It started out with everything set to high, but that made the game slightly jumpy, so I dropped to medium, and have been running smoothly now.
I can’t tell you the FPS though, because I don’t currently have anything installed that will tell me that. I might install Fraps though, and see if I can record a video later to show that I can run the game.
And now My system specs:
Microsoft Windows XP Pro X64 with SP2 (I don’t think x64 has SP3)
AMD Athlon 64 x2 5000+ 2.60GHz
4.00GB RAM
ATI Radion HD 3870 1GB Graphics card
I think that is about it.
In conclusion, I can run GTA IV in windowed mode at 1024×768 resolution with the graphics settings set to medium with fairly good performance.
update: and before anyone asks, I have stood still, got into a cop car chase, blew up a car, and gone though a couple of missions all with the same performance (the only exception is when I blew up the car, it only slightly lagged for a second or two)
